Dan SanGiovanni is a student-athlete (Emory University Varsity). He played for 2 years in the DC United Academy system. In his only full year of HS soccer (sophomore) he started 19 of 22 games for 2016 Virginia HS champion. Dan was MaxPreps player of the match in the 2016 VA State 2A High School championship. George Mason High School NSCAA 2015-2016 High School Team Academic Award Winners
George Mason Boys Soccer Team was one of a total of 138 boys teams from throughout the United States to earn the NSCAA Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team during the 2015-16 academic year.
To qualify for the award, the team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.25 for the entire academic year. The nationally ranked Mason team had a combined GPA of 3.45.
Dan SanGiovanni contributed 3.6 GPA with courses in honors Algebra II & Trig., honors Chemistry, and AP US Government and Politics.
