Dan SanGiovanni is a student-athlete (Emory University Varsity). He played for 2 years in the DC United Academy system. In his only full year of HS soccer (sophomore) he started 19 of 22 games for 2016 Virginia HS champion. Dan was MaxPreps player of the match in the 2016 VA State 2A High School championship. SanGiovanni Receives 2017 Perlo Award and Cornell University Book Award
The Hyman M. and Phillip D. Perlo High School Athlete Award honors outstanding rising 12th grade scholar-athletes who attend school in the Greater Washington, DC area. SanGiovanni is currently in 11th grade.
The Cornell University Book Award is for outstanding academic accomplishment and leadership in the area of community service.

SanGiovanni as representative at Model United Nations
On 21 April 2017 Dan SanGiovanni participated in the Model United Nations at the Thomas Jefferson High School in Alexandria, Virginia.
TechMUN provides delegates with a simulation of world politics wherein students take on the role of diplomats and assemble in committee to investigate, debate, and propose solutions to world issues. From massive General Assembly committees to the European Union to the cabinets of warring nations, to brand new application only specialized Middle School conferences this year, TECHMUN offer delegates the opportunity to roleplay on a wide number of committees as the representative of many different countries and ministries. MUN helps students learn how to communicate, collaborate, and argue effectively, all essential life skills in any career field.
