The BRYC U18 squad advanced to the VA State Cup final with a 3-1 win versus SOCA. Dan SanGiovanni started in center back for BRYC and played for the duration of the match.
Dan SanGiovanni is a student-athlete (Emory University Varsity). He played for 2 years in the DC United Academy system. In his only full year of HS soccer (sophomore) he started 19 of 22 games for 2016 Virginia HS champion. Dan was MaxPreps player of the match in the 2016 VA State 2A High School championship. BRYC U18 Advances to Final 4 of State Cup With Shutout vs Loudon U18s.
SanGiovanni started for BRYC U18s at center back in shutout versus Loudon that pushed the squad into final 4 of the State Cup.
