Dan SanGiovanni is a student-athlete (Emory University Varsity). He played for 2 years in the DC United Academy system. In his only full year of HS soccer (sophomore) he started 19 of 22 games for 2016 Virginia HS champion. Dan was MaxPreps player of the match in the 2016 VA State 2A High School championship. He was selected for MD ODP, VA ODP and National Maccabi squads and played in Disney U19 & VA State Cup U18 Championship matches. Perlo Award. VIDEOs: right menu bar.

Region 1 Tournament
SanGiovanni started at center back in all matches for the Virginia State ODP team at the Region 1 Tournament. In the time that he was on the field , the team conceded 2 goals. SanGiovanni served as team captain in the tournament.
